Greene County Chamber invites the public to attend its annual meeting next Monday, Jan. 12, at the Elks Lodge, 103 W. Harrison St, in Jefferson.
Social time begins at 5:30 pm with dinner at 6:15. The agenda will include a wrap-up of 2014, introductions of new board members, milestone memberships and the announcement of the 2014 winner of the prestigious Above and Beyond the Call (ABC) Volunteer Recognition Award.
The ABC Award is presented annually to an individual or couple who through personal involvement, leadership qualities, and unselfish giving of time and talent has positively affected activities or accomplishments beneficial to the community at large. Recent past recipients have been Don Orris in 2013, Chris Henning in 2012, Hollie Roberts in 2011, and Chuck and Carla Offenburger in 2010.
